Meet Rob Steinberger
MY BACKGROUND
I am running to represent the people of Maryland's 3rd District in the United States Congress. Like many of us in Maryland and throughout the U.S., I want to see positive change in - make that an overhaul of - how things are being done in Washington. I do not believe the system is broken, but I do believe new perspectives, new thinking, and frankly, new people can make the needed difference. I know there are positive ways to move forward. My wife, Erin, and our three children are everything to me and I want to be part of securing a better future for them. I have gained extensive business and legal experience throughout my career, having worked across a spectrum of large and small companies and non-profits. I am not a career politician, and I believe that Washington and Congress can still work for the people of the U.S.
My goal is to faithfully represent the views of my neighbors, colleagues, friends and family of Maryland's 3rd District in DC.
Originally from the Hudson Valley in NY, I attended the University of Notre Dame via a Naval ROTC scholarship, graduated with a BA and was commissioned into the Naval Individual Ready Reserves. I later graduated from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia with an MBA, Pace Law school with a JD, and George Washington University with a Masters in Educational Technology Leader. Erin and I had the chance to choose Anne Arundel County and moved here in 2016, making our home in Arnold. Living and working in this community, I have come to understand the challenges faced by both individuals and businesses in our community. In addition to my corporate career experience, I have served on the board of several non-profit organizations and have participated in many fundraising events to help those in need. I am committed to serving the people of Maryland's 3rd District and making a positive difference in our community and beyond.
MY VISION FOR MARYLAND
As your representative in Congress, I will fight for the issues that matter to our community. I believe in limited government, lower taxes, and more individual freedom. I will work to create jobs, support small businesses, and improve education and healthcare for all Marylanders. I am committed to protecting our environment and preserving our natural resources for future generations. I believe in a strong national defense and will work to ensure that our military - and our veterans - have the resources they need I am committed to serving the people of Howard, Anne Arundel and Carroll Counties, as well as those of broader Maryland in making our voices heard. With your support, we can drive progress in Maryland and in our country.

As your representative in Congress, my mission is to put Maryland first. I believe in working across party lines to find common-sense solutions to the challenges facing our community and our country.I will be a voice for all Marylanders, and I will work tirelessly to ensure that our state gets the resources and support it needs for our residents to thrive. I am committed to transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility, and I will always put the interests of my constituents ahead of my own. Together, we can build a better future for Maryland.
